Solana Mobile has announced that their new Web3 smartphone, the Solana Seeker, is presently in testing, with shipment scheduled to commence in Summer 2025. The Seeker is an Android smartphone designed for the decentralized web, allowing users to engage directly with decentralized apps (dApps) and blockchain capabilities.
KJey features include the SeedVault wallet, which securely keeps private keys stored in a protected space, and the Seeker Genesis Token, a one-of-a-kind, non-transferable NFT tied to every device. The token unlocks special rewards and access in the Solana ecosystem, further enriching the user experience.
Hardware-wise, the Seeker is equipped with 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, and a 6.36-inch AMOLED screen, promising solid performance and an excellent visual experience. The device also has a high-definition camera setup, serving both normal users and crypto fans looking for a solid smartphone with Web3 functionality.
Pre-orders for the Seeker have topped 140,000 globally, indicating a strong interest in the device. The Founder pre-order window starts at $450, with subsequent stages priced at $500. Clients will be allowed to confirm or update their shipping addresses before to shipment.
