Rumours have began to circulate on social media that Pudgy Party – the Fall Guys-esque title based on Pudgy Penguins, and developed by Mythical Games – is set for an imminent release. Members of the Pudgy Penguins and Mythical Games teams, alongside beta testers, have been ramping up communication surrounding the game over the past week, with videos of gameplay hitting social feeds on a growing basis.
Pudgy Party is set to be a core component of the Pudgy Penguins gaming offering, with Telegram game Pengu Clash having arrived in May 2025, Polar Challenge game cabinets hitting arcades across the US, and further initiatives set to release across the rest of the year.
Pudgy Party is an upcoming multiplayer party game, expected to be built on Mythos, and to be available on iOS and Android. Developed by Mythical Games, and heavily-inspired by the popular title Fall Guys, players control their own Pengu to tackle a variety of gameshow-like challenges. By dodging obstacles, pushing your opponents off platforms and racing to the finish, you get one step closer to becoming the last Pengu standing – and earning a variety of rewards.
As with other games in this genre, customisation is expect to be a core feature of the game. Players are expected to be able to use a variety of accessories – such as hats, glasses, clothes and more – on their Pengus, with speculation that Pudgy Penguins NFT holders may be able to play as their assets in-game. If rumors are to be believed, Pudgy Party is expected to release very soon on both iOS and Android.
The game is expected to be free-to-play on release, so wannabe players are encouraged to follow Pudgy Party on X for the latest information on a possible release date, and how to download and play the game. According to the Pudgy Party team, the official word is that Pudgy Party is set to arrive in “summer 2025” – though with activity, noise and excitement ramping up across social media, expect to see Pudgy Party make its debut sooner rather than later.
