Injective (INJ) is on the verge of a major alliance, set to join the Artificial Superintelligence Alliance (ASI) group, which already includes Fetch.ai, SingularityNET, and Ocean Protocol. This strategic move comes amid exciting plans to integrate Injective with Fetch.ai, enabling efficient cross-chain transfers that could unlock new opportunities in decentralized finance (DeFi) and beyond.
The collaboration between Injective and Fetch.ai is driven by a recent decision from the Fetch.ai community, which unanimously supported replacing its Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol light client with Injective’s capabilities. This update will simplify cross-chain asset transfers between Fetch.ai’s mainnet and Injective, potentially expanding the scope of DeFi and enhancing ecosystem resilience.
“This upgrade strengthens interoperability, making asset transfers between networks easier and enhancing ecosystem integration,” remarked MDCrypto, a Web3 enthusiast on X. “Beyond DeFi growth, the proposal showcases our community’s stability and governance.”
In a parallel move, the Fetch.ai community also greenlit a software upgrade to merge with the CUDOS network on October 27. The merger brings CUDOS into the ASI alliance, introducing its decentralized computing power to bolster AI processing and mitigate system vulnerabilities. This merger, notably supported by a 100% approval rate and quick quorum attainment, marks one of the most decisively backed initiatives for Fetch.ai to date.
Notably, the Injective network also confirmed the Fetch.ai integration, revealing that “the official on-chain governance proposal to integrate Fetch and Injective is now live.” More than enabling cross-chain transfers, this collaboration hints at Injective joining the ASI token alliance, positioning INJ tokens for a role in the broader ASI landscape. This would enable Injective to leverage its active trading platform to support AI-related assets, including tokens and derivatives linked to artificial intelligence advancements.
The Artificial Superintelligence Alliance, initially founded by Fetch.ai and SingularityNET, already has a strong foundation, with the two entities jointly investing $153 million into GPU hardware earlier this year. Their mission is clear: to provide the high-performance computing infrastructure needed for advanced AI and machine learning applications. Adding CUDOS’ globally distributed computing network further strengthens the alliance’s technological backbone, ensuring access to the latest GPUs for high-efficiency AI applications.
With Injective potentially joining, the alliance gains a robust trading infrastructure for handling a variety of AI assets, advancing opportunities for trading and asset management within the emerging AI sector.
