This integration follows Bybit’s previous rollout on June 17, which allowed consumers to use Apple Pay for transactions within the Bybit app or website.
In April, Bybit introduced the Bybit Card, a real debit card issued by Mastercard that accepts transactions in one fiat currency and eight cryptocurrencies. This card allows users to make payments and withdraw cash easily.
The move is consistent with Apple’s aim to improve financial services and rewards in its mobile wallet app this autumn, as reported by the Associated Press in early June.
integration with Apple Pay is part of a larger drive by cryptocurrency exchanges to link with mainstream financial platforms, as Apple recently added support for Crypto.com’s Visa cards to the EU version of its app earlier this year.
