Ghostface Killah, of Wu-Tang Clan fame, teams up with Ordinals Bot, Rare Scrilla, and NakaPepes for a groundbreaking venture into cryptocurrency with the launch of ‘Bitcoin Ordinals’, featuring an exclusive collection of music.
Ghostface offers a free mint of 10,000 pieces, allowing fans and crypto enthusiasts to participate in this unique experience without cost. In addition, holders of these Bitcoin Ordinals will be granted Creative Commons Zero (CC0) rights, essentially removing all copyright claims and enabling anyone to “freely build upon, enhance and reuse the works.”
This project’s execution is made possible through collaboration with NakaPepes, Rare Scrilla, and OrdinalsBot. Despite the increasing use of blockchain technology to give artists greater control over their creations, using Bitcoin Ordinals for music distribution is still a relatively new concept, with only 1,290 audio files inscribed onto Bitcoin.
Through this venture, Ghostface Killah invites the world to witness the evolution of music in the blockchain era, setting a new benchmark for what is possible when art meets technology.
