Fight.id Expands Ufc Partnership To Build Web3 Fan Rewards

Fight.ID is deepening its partnership with the UFC to develop new blockchain-based tools designed to enhance fan engagement through digital identity, loyalty rewards, and fighter bonus systems. With fresh funding from prominent investors and professional athletes, the UFC’s integration of Web3 technology is advancing into a new phase, aiming to connect its global fanbase with true digital ownership and onchain experiences. Fans can look forward to more immersive digital interactions and novel reward structures that reflect their support and participation.

The collaboration between UFC and Fight.ID is focused on building onchain products that foster closer connections between fans and fighters, enabling forms of engagement that were previously unattainable. Already an official partner of UFC Strike, Fight.ID is broadening its scope to deliver richer experiences for combat sports enthusiasts.

The company is introducing digital identity features that allow fans to create verified profiles, loyalty rewards that encourage ongoing community involvement, and fighter bonus mechanisms that let athletes directly benefit from fan support. These initiatives are rooted in Fight.ID’s guiding principles—Fight Fair, Fight Together, Fight Through, and Fight Forever—with the ultimate goal of empowering UFC fans to own their digital experiences and participate meaningfully in the blockchain ecosystem.

This expansion is fueled by a significant funding round that attracted major players across finance, sports, and entertainment. Investors include Anthos Capital, Aptos Foundation, Aquanow Ventures, Blockchain Coinvestors, Fabric VC, Jupiter, Memeland, and Yat Siu of Animoca Brands. The round also drew participation from professional athletes spanning the UFC, NBA, and NFL, including UFC fighters Gilbert Burns, Josh Emmett, and Alexandre Pantoja; NBA veteran Baron Davis; and NFL Pro Bowler Cam Jordan. Grant Norris-Jones, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Partnerships at TKO, emphasized the UFC’s commitment to innovation, praising Fight.ID’s team as dynamic and forward-thinking partners whose ecosystem they are excited to support in the years ahead.

Fight.ID’s broader mission is to bridge the UFC’s vast global audience with Web3 technology. As one of the most passionate and engaged fan communities in sports, UFC’s millions of supporters stand to gain from onchain experiences that offer ownership of digital collectibles and rewards, access to exclusive perks tied to loyalty and activity, and new revenue streams for fighters enabled by blockchain systems.

James Zhang, Co-Founder and CEO of Fight.ID, expressed admiration for the UFC’s spirit of grit and innovation, noting that over the past three years, the two organizations have built strong trust and collaboration through their work on official digital collectibles. He sees this moment as an opportunity to expand offerings and invite all fight fans into a new era of digital ownership.

The evolving partnership between UFC and Fight.ID illustrates how blockchain technology is transforming the landscape of fan engagement in sports. Through digital identities, loyalty incentives, and fighter-centric rewards, Fight.ID is helping fans forge deeper connections with athletes while unlocking innovative digital experiences. Backed by substantial funding and aligned around shared values, this collaboration is poised to bring UFC’s worldwide community further into the Web3 space, redefining what it means to be a modern sports fan.
