The Bitcoin Voter PAC has launched a new advertising campaign supporting Donald Trump in Pennsylvania. The ad featured Trump stating “We will ensure that the future of crypto and Bitcoin will be made in America.” The ads also highlight how supporting Trump could lead to better business conditions for cryptocurrency.
The Bitcoin Voter PAC is a political committee dedicated to supporting candidates who want to integrate cryptocurrencies into the economy. The committee is backed by executives from major crypto firms, including Marathon Digital Holdings, Riot Platforms, and even Elon Musk who had previously donated approximately $45 million to the committee in July 2024 to support Trump’s campaign.
In addition to supporting Trump, the Bitcoin Voter PAC is also promoting Senator Ted Cruz in Texas. As early voting began in Texas, the PAC funded an ad supporting Cruz, highlighting his understanding of the cryptocurrency landscape. In the ad posted yesterday on X, Cruz made his commitment to the crypto space clear, stating, “I want Texas to be the oasis on planet Earth for Bitcoin and crypto.”
As the election draws near, the cryptocurrency industry is preparing for significant changes in the political landscape. With over $160 million spent on political ads so far by crypto firms and executives according to a report from politico, advocates expect to see as many pro-crypto candidates in the House as possible.
