Today, STEPN GO announced the second phase of its partnership with adidas: a raffle for NFT sneakers that can be used in the Web3 move-to-earn game. The sneakers are based on four types of adidas running shoes, and the raffle will take place on Mooar, a gamified NFT marketplace. Here are all the details about the event:
- Date range and time: From September 25th to the 30th, beginning and ending at 8AM UTC
- Sneakers as inspiration: adiZero Adios Pro 3, Ultraboost 5X, Supernova Rise, adiStar BYD
- Cost per raffle ticket: 10,000 GMT ($1,472 at the current GMT price)
- # of sneakers up for grabs: 996
As in previous raffles, STEPN GO will refund the GMT for the losing tickets. In addition, STEPN GO and adidas will give away four NFT sneakers, bringing the total number in this collection up to 1,000. Likely due to the news of the raffle, the price per GMT has risen 7.5%, outpacing the general crypto market.
The collaboration between STEPN GO and adidas is similar to what STEPN GO did with Casio about a month ago. Then, as now, STEPN GO held a raffle-mint for hundreds of NFT sneakers based on the Casio Virtual G-SHOCK brand. The current floor price for those sneakers is 46,890 GMT or $6,902, considerably higher than the mint price of 10,000 GMT.
In addition to its NFT sneaker raffle mints, STEPN GO has been busy. Recently, it launched its Haus update, which allows players to lend sneakers, share energy, and earn rewards together. Now, users only need an activation code to play the game and can do so without any crypto knowledge.
